INDIANAPOLIS — Heartland Film Festival will present A Short Escape, Tuesday, July 20 through Sunday, July 25. The fourth annual Academy Award-Qualifying Indy Shorts International Film Festival’s tickets and film lineup are available at heartlandfilm.org
There are three ways to experience the festival with indoor, outdoor and virtual screening options. You can retreat to screenings in the blooming gardens of the Indianapolis Arts Center, the lush lawns of IndyFringe, the luxurious new Living Room Theaters at Bottleworks, or watch films virtually in your backyard for the ultimate staycation.
Indy Shorts is now a qualifying festival for all three short film categories at the annual Academy Awards. This designation resulted in 3,300 short film submissions – the most in Indy Shorts history. The influx of quality film submissions made it easy for us to nearly double the amount of films as last year with 201 shorts featured in 33 themed programs.
Go to IndyShorts.org for the film descriptions, schedule, Fest Passes, tickets and more.
