IRVINGTON — The Benton House Book Sale will take place July 16-18, and they are currently seeking book donations. This year, there is only one donation box, at the back of the Benton House, 312 S. Downey Ave. Please drop off donations in the deck box at the back of the house.
Donations of all kinds of books are encouraged, except for encyclopedias. Hardcovers, paperbacks, children’s books, and young adult books in all genres are encouraged.
The Benton House Book Sale will be held Friday, July 16 from 5-8 p.m.; Saturday July 17 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., and Sundayfrom 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday is the $5 bag of books sale day. Paperbacks are $1 and hardcovers $2, with special pricing for some books. All proceeds go to support the maintenance of the historic Benton House.
