INDIANAPOLIS — Beginning this week, IMPD district commanders will host a series of virtual community meetings designed to provide more detailed information about 2020 public safety data and 2021 public safety plans in their districts, and provide a forum for residents to ask questions about the area they live in. Residents are invited to join their district’s meeting to hear about efforts to keep their neighborhood safe and how they can get more involved in their local community.
Links to participate in the virtual community meetings are posted on the districts’ social media pages. The meetings will take place at 6 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays for the first three weeks of February. East District will hold its meeting Feb. 9. Register at http://bit.ly/eastcommunity
Southeast District will hold its meeting Tuesday, Feb. 16 at 6 p.m. (visit their Facebook page to register). North District will be available on Thursday, Feb. 18 at 6 p.m.
