INDIANAPOLIS — If you intend to vote by absentee ballot (mail-in voting), you must request your ballot before Thursday, Oct.22. You can request an absentee ballot by going online to: indianavoters.in.gov and clicking on your voter’s portal. You will be given an option to vote by mail.
It will take a few days for the Election Board to verify your address and registration, and a ballot will be mailed to you.
You MUST SIGN YOUR COMPLETED BALLOT and send it back so it gets to the Election Board NO LATER THAN NOON ON TUESDAY, NOV. 3. If you have doubts your ballot will get there on time, you may drop off completed ballots at the Election Board Service Center at 3737 E. Washington St. (Sherman and E. Washington St.).
