INDIANAPOLIS — In-person early voting begins in the city Tuesday, Oct. 6 at the Marion County Election Board Office in the City-County Building, 200 E. Washington St., W-144. Hours for early voting are:
• Tuesday-Friday: Oct. 6-Oct. 23: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
• Monday, Oct. 26-Friday, Oct. 30: 8 a.m.-7 p.m.
• Monday, Nov. 2: 8 a.m.-noon
• Saturdays-Sundays, Oct. 10 Nov. 1: 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Other early voting centers will be available as the election draws closer. Sites include the Krannert Park Community Center, 605 S. High School Rd.; MSD Lawrence Administration Building, 6501 Sunnyside Rd.; Perry Township Government Center, 4925 Shelby St.; St. Luke’s UMC, 100 W. 86th St.; Warren Township Government Center, 501 N. Post Rd. These locations will be open Saturday, Oct. 24 and close Sunday, Nov. 1. Locations will be open from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. weekends, 11 a.m.-7 p.m. weekdays.
Absentee ballots must be requested by Oct. 22. Completed ballots must be received by noon, Nov. 3 or they will not be counted. If you are mailing the ballot, drop it in any USPS post box or in person at your local post office.
Completed absentee ballots can be dropped off in the City-County Building, 200 E. Washington St. (inside box). You may also drop off your completed ballot at the Election Service Center, 3737 E. Washington St. from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. (call 317-327-5100 for weekend hours). You must deliver the ballot in person. No other ballot drop-offs have been designated by election officials.
You may also hand deliver your ballot at any early voting center from Oct. 24-Nov. 1. If you completed your ballot and missed dropping it in the mail, you may visit one of 187 vote centers in the county on Nov. 3 BEFORE NOON.
