INDIANAPOLIS — The Warren Central Jazz Ensemble will host American Pianists Jazz Awards Finalist Kenny Banks, Jr. on Sept. 26 at 7 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center on the campus of Warren Central High School. Banks is a Columbus, Ohio native who has worked alongside numerous Grammy-nominated artists, and has been featured in multiple film and television productions including “Bessie” with Queen Latifah, “Jacob’s Ladder” with Michael Ealy, “Star,” and “Married to Medicine.” He released his debut album, “My Sentiments,” earlier this year. Mr. Banks will be in residence with the WC Jazz Ensemble, but will also work with the piano classes and Symphony Orchestra. Tickets are $6 for adults, and $4 for students/seniors. Warren Township faculty & staff admitted free with township ID.
