INDIANAPOLIS — The 5th Annual Public Safety Softball Tournament will be held Sat., Sept. 16 at the Chuck Klein Sports Complex, teams from across the area, representing public safety, private, and public agencies will come together on Saturday, September 16 for a day of fun and fellowship. Proceeds from the event go to the Indianapolis EMS Fund to honor the lives and service of Private Timothy McCormick and Specialist Cody Medley. Tim and Cody lost their lives in a Line of Duty accident in 2013. Later that year, the memorial fund was created to carry on their legacy of service to others through their dedication to life-saving work.
The primary focus of the Indianapolis EMS Fund is to provide scholarships for paramedic students, lessening the burden and expense to individuals interested in taking this important career step. We ask that you consider participating in our event this year as a sponsor, team, free agent, or by donating to enhance the paramedic and EMT career experience. In addition to scholarships, through a diverse, multi-disciplinary committee, the IEMS Fund supports the mission and innovations of Indianapolis EMS and its providers. The Indianapolis EMS Fund is managed by the Indy Public Safety Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit organization that works directly with Indy’s public safety agencies.
Sponsorships range from $150 to $2,500. To view sponsorship investment level benefits and register your sponsorship support today, please visit 2018IEMSSoftball.EventBrite.com.
