So Where Does LeBron Go?

Now that the 2017-18 NBA season is finally over and the Golden State Warriors are again the champs, the world of sports can now consider one of the world’s most burning issues. Where will LaBron James play in the 2018-19 season? Mr. James is now a free agent and has to consider and choose from all the entities who are lining up to give him “Lots ‘O Cash.” The Cleveland Cavaliers have admitted that they can’t afford the price it will take to land him, but that may be a ploy to see what the market for LeBron’s service will be. LeBron has inferred that he is looking for new scenery and even though Cleveland is his home town, he wants to move on, although that could change.
James is 33 years old and has shown no signs of aging in his legendary basketball skill set. So where, oh where does LeBron James go? Where oh, where will he play? He played four seasons for the Miami Heat, leading them to back-to-back NBA Championships. When he returned to Cleveland the Heat returned to NBA mediocrity. Miami is really not in the running this time but anything can happen. There was talk for a while that the Boston Celtics would do whatever it takes to get LeBron in a green uniform, but that talk has disappeared. The woeful Philly 76ers have been mentioned, the San Antonio Spurs, the LA Clippers, and even Golden State.
Right now, odds makers are saying that it has come down to a choice between the Houston Rockets and LA Lakers with the Lakers the favored choice. The James family already resides there in the off-season and the Lakers are trying to build a championship team so the Lakers would seem to be a logical spot to land. Anyway, whereever he goes, LaBron James will make his team an automatic contender for the NBA title. As for the age-old argument who is better? LeBron or Michael Jordan? Well forget it, because I am not even going there!
