At Indiana Landmarks, 1201 N. Central, the June First Friday art show presents “Off the Record: The Melody of Fine and Underground Art.” The group show displays the work of 28 artists inspired by punk aesthetics, rock music, pop culture, and political topics.
The Circle City Industrial Complex Artists (CCIC Artists), 1125 Brookside Ave., will host a variety of artists as part of the June First Friday art tour. Brookside Avenue has been closed due to road construction, starting just after the Centerpoint Brewing parking lot, on the south end of the CCIC. To reach the CCIC’s large free parking lot, visitors should continue east on 10th Street, past the Dorman Street stoplight. They should then turn left at Arsenal Avenue, just across from IPS Brookside School 54. Banners have been tied to the fencing around the parking lot, and visitors should enter by taking a left (west) off of Arsenal onto 12th Street. All building entrances are accessible as usual, but visitors should take care crossing the street, as its condition changes daily.
