INDIANAPOLIS — The Heartland Film Festival will wrap up Sun., Oct. 22 with a closing night screening of Laddie: The Man Behind the Movies at 7 p.m. at Castleton Square AMC, following by an after party. Tickets may be available; visit www.heartlandfilmfestival.org to check.
The festival has been breaking records this year, with the most films (over 200) and sell-outs in advance for many screenings. There’s still time to see some great movies, including Liyana (Fri. at 3:30 p.m. at Castleton), La Soledad (Fri. at Castleton at 3:45 and 8:15 p.m.), Indiana Spotlight Shorts 1 (Fri. at Traders Point 12 AMC at 5:15 p.m.), Red Dog: True Blue (Fri. at Traders Point 12 at 5:30 p.m.), High School Film Competition selections (Sat. at 1:15 p.m. at Castleton), Mixed Match (Sat. at Castleton at 4:45), Foreign Language Oscar contenders at both locations, and much more.
