INDIANAPOLIS — Footlite Musicals is excited to announce the initial production of its 62nd season, Big Fish, with performances July 7, 8, 9, 13, 14, 15, 16, 20, 21, 22 and 23.
Indianapolis’ oldest continuing community theatre presents its productions at its home theater, the Hedback Community Theater, 1847 North Alabama St. Curtain time for its Thursday, Friday and Saturday performances is 7:30 p.m. Sunday matinees have a 2:30 p.m. curtain.
Based on the celebrated novel by Daniel Wallace and the acclaimed film by Tim Burton, Big Fish centers on Edward Bloom, a traveling salesman who lives life to its fullest and then some. Edward’s incredible, larger-than-life stories thrill everyone around him, most of all his devoted wife Sandra. But their son Will, about to have a child of his own, is determined to find the truth behind is father’s epic tales.
This Young Adult production is performed by actors age 18 through 25 and will mark the Indianapolis community theatre premiere of this musical.
Individual admission prices for the Friday, Saturday and Sunday performances are $23 for adults and $15 for youth 17 and younger. The Thursday and first Sunday performances are $10 for all seats. Tickets may be purchased online at www.footlite.org or by phone at (317) 926-6630.
