INDIANAPOLIS — Two Walker Career Center engineering teams competed at the national level in an industrial engineering design contest, sponsored by Phoenix Contact. The veteran team took two excellence awards, Excellence in Communication and Engineering and secnd place overall.
The veteran team designed the “Choco Express,” which is an automated customizable candy bar maker. The other team designed “Go Go Cheerio”, which is a remote control autonomous vehicle.
The Walker Career Center Engineering and Technology instructor is James Hanson.
