INDIANAPOLIS —Two Scecina Memorial High School juniors are being honored as Rising Stars of Indiana.
Molly Griffin and Liberty Joson are among 971 juniors from 256 Indiana high schools being honored.
The Indiana Association of School Principals invites each Indiana high school to nominate students currently in 11th grade, based on their academic achievement.
“Please join IASP in congratulating these students on all they have already achieved, as well as offering support and encouragement as they continue their accomplishments and expand their knowledge, growth and leadership skills well into the future,” said Kyle L. Harrop, IASP’s program director for the Department of Student Programs.
Each individual student will be recognized equally through inclusion in a published list of statewide Rising Stars of Indiana and will receive an award certificate and documentation that can be included in portfolios or in a resume.
