INDIANAPOLIS — To commemorate National Crime Victims’ Rights Week April 18-25, a special memorial was unveiled at Central Library downtown on April 21. The Homicide Memorial Exhibit was created with 135 pairs of shoes to memorialize the 135 victims of criminal homicide in Indianapolis in 2014, which was accompanied by signage, resources and opportunities for individuals to express their support for victims.
