INDIANAPOLIS — Two Indianapolis youth have been named as Hilton Hotels and Resorts global community relations program Bright Blue Futures Award winners for their academic achievement. The Indianapolis Hilton Hotel is partnered with Windsor Park supporting after school study time and life-skills development; helping youth achieve stability through encouraging education.
This year’s Bright Blue Futures Award winners, Jalissa Murry and Raven Manning, each met the criteria of Honor Role student; consistent attendance at school; excellent behavior and active participation in both school and programs at Windsor Park. The young ladies follow Sean Shanklin, the first Windsor Park Bright Blue Futures award recipient in 2014.
Award winners received a Hilton book bag full of school supplies and movies tickets. Hilton is also challenging the students to stay on the Honor Roll for three more consecutive times with an incentive to earn their immediate family a free VIP overnight at the downtown Hilton Hotel.
