From The Indianapolis Star, Tuesday, March 30, 1915: Technical High School will graduate its first class in June, although the East Side institution will be only three years old. The 16 students who make up the class are finishing up their work in record time, most of them completing the four years’ course in three years. The members of the June ’15 class elected Fay Douglass, president; Frank Sullivan, vice president; Lois Stone, treasurer; and Donald Durman, secretary, and they selected green and white for the class colors. A school committee has adopted the same for Tech’s colors. A pin with the tower on its face and the name of the school and the date on the border will be worn by each graduate. Future graduating classes will be presented with a similar pin.
