INDIANAPOLIS — The Walker Career Center Culinary Arts Program, facilitated by Chef Carol Rice, sent two student teams to the Indiana State Family Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) and ProStart (National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation) contest. Each team had to prepare an appetizer, a main entrée and dessert in 60 minutes. Team A placed third in the FCCLA and ProStart out of 20 competing teams. Team B was awarded Best Appetizer.
