INDIANAPOLIS — The Kurt Vonnegut Memorial Library will feature a new exhibit featuring works of renowned gourd sculptor Nancy Miller. Miller is revisiting the works of Kurt Vonnegut that she read her in twenties and thirties, specifically Slaugtherhouse-Five. She recently celebrated the 85th birthday of a dear friend who only survived the Dresden firebombing, the central event of Slaugtherhouse-Five, by being away at boarding school.
The exhibit will open Sept. 5 from 6-9 p.m. for First Friday. Miller will feature a Vonnegut-specific piece for this exhibit in addition numerous other sculptures to be displayed through Sept. 30 at the Kurt Vonnegut Memorial Library, 340 N. Senate Ave.
