INDIANAPOLIS — Footlite Musicals will continue its 2014-2015 season with its Young Artists production of “Cats,“ with performances August 15, 16, 17, 21, 22, 23 and 24 at the Hedback Community Theater at 1847 North Alabama St.
Curtain time for the Thursday performance is 7:30 p.m. Curtain time for the Friday and Saturday performances is 8 p.m., and Sunday matinees have a 2:30 p.m. curtain.
Admission for the Friday, Saturday and Sunday performances is $15 and $10 for the Thursday performances. All seats are reserved, and reservations may be made on-line at Footlite’s website, www.footlite.org. You may also call the Footlite box office at (317) 926-6630.
“Cats” will be presented for the first time on the Footlite stage in a production featuring performers ages 13 to 18. Based on Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats by T.S. Eliot, the musical has music and lyrics by Andrew Lloyd-Webber.
Footlite’s 59th season will include productions of “Mame,” “White Christmas,” “The Story of My Life,” “Hairspray” and “The Who’s Tommy.” Season tickets are currently on sale for $100 each and may be purchased on-line at Footlite’s website, www.footlite.org.
