INDIANAPOLIS — The Buck Creek Players will close their 40th Anniversary Season “Fabulous at 40” with the Playhouse Players Youth Production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Junior, opening Aug. 1 and continuing for two weekends through Aug. 10. Curtain times will be at 8:00 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, with 2:30 p.m. matinees offered on Sundays. Tickets are $16 for everyone, with $2 automatically donated to The Blaine Jarrett Memorial Scholarship fund. Group discounts are also available for parties of ten or more when purchased online.
Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Junior is a condensed version of the award-winning Broadway production, based on Disney’s animated feature film. This show features a young and talented cast (all ages 18 or younger) of wacky villagers, enchanted furniture, and dancing flatware performing such popular songs as “Belle, “Gaston,” “Be Our Guest,” and the title tune — just to name a few.
