INDIANAPOLIS — Starting on or after July 28, three repair projects will begin on New York Street.
New York Street from LaSalle to Gale Street as well as New York Street under CSX bridge will be resurfaced. Curb and sidewalk reconstruction will take place under CSX bridge on New York Street. In addition to these repairs, grading adjustments will be made to the storm water inlets on New York Street.
This segment of New York Street will be closed during daily construction but will re-open to traffic after work is completed each day.
The detour route will be: Go south on Rural Street, east on Washington Street and north on Sherman Street back to New York Street.
