Two of the dogs have been re-homed, but 26 are looking for fur-ever homes. The Hancock Co. shelter is very small and they need to find places for these pooches as soon as possible. The shelter is at 809 S. State Street in Greenfield. The kennel is open from 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. M-F, and 9:30-11:30 a.m. on Sat. Call the office at 477-4367 for more information, or search for them on www.petfinder.com.
