Indy Blazers Win State, Midwest Tourneys

INDIANAPOLIS — The Indy Blazers girls’ varsity basketball team brought home the State title for the second year in a row, and now the Midwest Regional title as well. Training continues and hopes are high for a first ever National title to follow.

The final game against the Cincinnati Trailblazers ended with a score of 46 to 30 and the Indy Blazers received their first ever Midwest Regional victory.
The Blazers are comprised of home schooled girls from all over central Indiana stretching from Lafayette to Greenwood.
The National tournament will be held in Springfield, Missouri March 10-15.  In 2013 the Indy Blazers finished the season ranked #7 in the nation.
