INDIANAPOLIS — After three previous years of sold out shows, local original works organization Q Artistry will present Cabaret Poe in October featuring the entire original cast. Local actors Julie Lyn Barber, Ben Asaykwee, Sara Williams and Chicago native Renae Stone will take the stage once again and work their way through Edgar Allan Poe’s most famous works in the original musical which premiered in the Irvington neighborhood in October, 2009.
Presented in a limited run beginning Oct. 11th, the show is backed up by a 5 person orchestra and will feature small changes but will remain true to the original production with “bonuses.”
“We really missed it last year” says producer Will McCarty, “and audiences seemed to miss the show, too. People were asking us to bring it back and we just didn’t think it would be possible with everyone’s schedule. But, it’s worked out beautifully and we couldn’t be more pleased to offer it again.”
