INDIANAPOLIS — Join the fun for the first eastside church festival of the season, the Little Flower Summerfest 2013. Mark your calendars for May 31st, June 1st, and June 2nd.
Little Flower Church’s Summer Festival has food, fun and entertainment for all. The festival features a raffle with a $5,000 grand prize as well as a huge silent auction that runs all three days. Poor Jack Amusements will be on the midway.
A gigantic rummage sale will be held on Friday, May 31st and Saturday, June 1st, from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. under a tent on the parish lawn.
What’s a summer festival without lots of food? Friday dinner this year will feature pulled pork. Saturday night dinner will be beef and noodles from our friends at the Steer-In. On Sunday, a brunch will be available from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Rounding out the food offerings outside will be festival favorites: burgers, fries, tenderloins, hot dogs, brats, Italian sausage, nachos and walking tacos, corn on the cob, pizza, elephant ears, strawberries and ice cream.
Monte Carlo games for adults will be available on Friday and Saturday evening, with a Texas Hold ‘em tournament on Friday night. Live entertainment will be available Friday and Saturday evenings. Sunday will include special attractions for the kids. Silly Safari will do their live animal show at 1 p.m., and the Indiana Pacer Fan Van is scheduled for Sunday at 2 p.m.
Little Flower is located at 14th and Bosart Ave.
