The plot of Late Flowering revolves around revelations that ensue when the owner of an up-scale Marriage Bureau decides to transfer their filing records into a new computer system. Her secretary, in firm control of the card files, resists the change. When the computer malfunctions, and an oddball computer repairman enters the scene, the plot begins to thicken. He figures it would be a dandy idea to search for a wife by using this new system he’s installed, and the hilarity begins. For a while, forget the angst and trauma of society’s problems and enjoy this delightful comedy.
