Monthly Poetry Series at Lawrence Art Center

LAWRENCE — The Lawrence Art Center recently started a monthly poetry series. The next program is on Feb. 26, from 6:30 – 8:30pm at 4437 N. Franklin Rd.  Each month we feature a guest poet and this month our guest poet is Karen Kovacik, current poet laureate of Indiana. (http://karenkovacik.wordpress.com/author/kkovacik/)
Upcoming events include March 26, with Steve Roberts, April 23 with Richard Pflum, and May 28 with Linda Lee.
Following the featured poet will be an open mike in which all are invited to share their work.
Come learn about poetry, meet local poets, and be an ambassador for the art of poetry on Indy’s east side.
