INDIANAPOLIS – Harrison Center for the Arts (HCA) has been named a finalist for the national ArtPlace creative placemaking grant. ArtPlace, based in Chicago, named 104 finalists out of 1200 for their third year of creative placemaking grants. ArtPlace funding is a collaboration of 13 leading national and regional foundations and six of the nation’s largest banks to transform communities through investing in art and culture. The Harrison Center for the Arts application seeks to grow creative place-making efforts in urban Indianapolis through the City Gallery: Indy’s Urban Living Center. The HCA has been named the only Indiana finalist.
