Visit Southeastway Park on March 7  to learn about this fascinating process.
Head out to Southeastway Park at 5624 South Carroll Road, where participants can enjoy guided tours of a working sugar bush and work with real tools used in sap collecting process, observe sap being made into syrup, and taste the delicious results. Participants will also learn the anatomy of the sugar maple, how Pioneers and Native Americans made syrup, and how we do it today.
