INDIANAPOLIS — Henry Lee Summer, Art Adams, Allen “Turk” Burke and His Souled Out Band, Zanna of the Fabulous Starlettes, Cathy Morris and Beki Brindle Scala are the featured performers at the very first IMEM Music Fest, Thurs., Sept. 17 at the Vogue Theater in Indianapolis (6259 N College Ave.). Legendary ex- WNAP “The Buzzard” announcers Fast Freddie Fever and Cris “Moto” Conner will MC and many valuable prizes will be awarded via raffle. Doors open at 6 and the show begins at 7.
This event is a benefit for IMEM, which is raising funds towards opening a permanent brick and mortar museum featuring Indiana’s music, film and broadcasting heritage. Each of the performers has generously donated their services on IMEM’s behalf and the Vogue is also generously donating all ticket revenue to IMEM.
IMEM is now accepting donations of historical music, film, and broadcasting artifacts, along with monetary donations. Donations are tax deductible.
More information is available at imemindiana.org or on Facebook at facebook/imemindiana. Advance tickets are available at www.thevogue.com/calendar/ for $15 and $20 at the door.
